Rural communities across the country face unique challenges as they strive to strengthen communities and improve lives. The goal of of our Reclaiming Appalachia Conference is to provide an unparalleled peer-learning venue to share information and strategies, generate innovative ideas and approaches, and establish the valuable connections necessary to produce long-lasting systemic change.
Fahe’s Annual Meeting begins Monday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. and continues until the joint Reclaiming Appalachia Conference plenary session begins on Tuesday morning. For the following three-day event (Tuesday through Thursday), NeighborWorks America and Fahe will convene community development professionals from around the country to showcase central Appalachia and build upon a national strategy to address high and persistent rural poverty across the country.
